Social Responsibility

Blood Donation Drive

As an organisation, Mansons is committed towards being socially responsible. And as an extension of our pledge, during the week of Daan Utsav, we successfully organised our first ever Blood Donation Camp, at our plant in Panvel. In association with Think Foundation, an organisation that works mainly with Thalassaemia Major patients across India, and Samarpan Blood Bank, we managed to exceed all expectations and collected more than 102 units of blood in one day – a group motivated achievement that once again reflects Team Mansons determination and dedication towards the promise of a more responsible and secure social environment.

1st CLEANLINESS DRIVE

Mansons as an organisation has taken up the initiative to clean the surroundings of our workplace. For doing so, we organised a cleanliness drive in Jawahar Co-operative Industrial Estate in Kamothe in the month of January 2017. Cleanliness of our surroundings is of utmost importance to the organisation, therefore we encouraged participation of not only our employees but also the people who are a part of this industrial society. One of the main purpose of this programme was to create awareness regarding Cleanliness and its benefits among the people who live and use this society on a day to day basis.

The cleaning activity spanned over a period of three weeks wherein we covered all the areas surrounding our factories located in Jawahar Industrial Estate in Kamothe. The event started off with an oath where each one pledged to keep the surroundings of this area clean and free of litter and in doing so encouraged others as well. A complete group effort where each one put in their best and cleaned most of the garbage and litter in the area. Every week we saw a growing number of 45 to 50 people participating in this event and even encouraged other companies to regularly organise such activities.

Yet another successful event that highlights the dedication and determination of Team Mansons toward creating a healthier and cleaner environment.
